Orientation

Our Fall 2011 graduate student orientation will take place on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, beginning at 2 pm.

This free orientation will include tips on how to plan your graduate program and is an opportunity to get your questions answered by a panel of graduate students and faculty members.

In addition, representatives from SFU's essential services for graduate students will be available outside the room from 2:00-2:30 pm to answer your questions.

After the formal orientation ends at 3:15 pm, you may choose to move to SFU's pub for light snacks, a complimentary beverage of your choice, and social time where you'll have a chance to meet some of your fellow new graduate students and faculty members.

Please RSVP online to let us know you'll be attending:

Please note: International & US students are invited to attend both this Graduate Orientation and the International Orientation on Friday, September 2. Your department may also host an orientation session. You can attend one or all of the programs, depending on your needs. We are working together to integrate the sessions and ensure that there is little duplication of information and activities.

We're grateful to Club Ilia, Ichibankan Express, Nesters Market, Scotiabank and the SFU Bookstore for their donations of prizes for the orientation session.
