Technology Integration

LIDC provides consultation related to the integration of technology in your course, as well as instructional and technical support in the use of WebCT, eLIVE, Clickers and online collaborative environments such as blogs and wikis.

WebCT

We provide technical and instructional assistance in using WebCT to support your face to face classroom, and provide individual help and drop-in sessions. You can request assistance by sending us an email at instructional_support@sfu.ca.

eLive

LIDC administers eLive, a synchronous audio system that works over the Internet. We can provide advice on ways to integrate it into your course, as well as schedule your events. If you need assistance booking an event, please send an email to elive@sfu.ca.

Clickers

We can provide advice and consultation if you wish to integrate clickers(personal response systems) into your face to face classroom.

Blogs

SFU hosts a Wordpress Blog service and LIDC can help you plan learning activities and use of this technology in pedagogically effective ways.

Wikis

SFU hosts a wiki and LIDC can help you plan learning activities and use this technology in pedagogically effective ways.
